18. Song Change!

Originally we were planning our music video to the song Planetary Go! by My Chemical Romance because we liked the song and it had a good beat that we could cut our song too. However, after a lot of discussion we realised we wanted more of a narrative to our music video and so we found the song Her Name Is Alice by Shinedown which is about Alice in Wonderland and was on the soundtrack Almost Alice for Tim Burton's recreation of Alice.

Our basic narrative would follow along the lyrics:

"even though she's dreaming/she's unlocked the meaning for you"

Where we would 'enter' Alice's 'wonderland' her mind and whilst there she is searching for a key which she finds and at the end gives the Mad Hatter. Throughout the  music video we will relate a lot of the mise-en-scene to the lyrics and the theme of Alice in Wonderland. The song is also relatable as everybody knows Alice in Wonderland and since it is a fairy tale we can still use all our slow motion and degree of randomness to keep with the dreamlike theme.
