25. Song Permission!

Since we are using a song which is not our own we needed to formally contact the owners of the song to avoid copyright issues however the song we have chosen "Her Name Is Alice" is quite complicated in the ownership side as it was specifically made for the soundtrack of a film. 

Our group member Alex messaged both Atlantic Records (who own Shinedown's music) and Disney who own Buena Vista Records who own the "Almost Alice" soundtrack upon which our song features. 

As you can see on Alex's blog Disney emailed her back offering another contact to ask permission off and so Alex sent them this email.
